Ear protection is the last wave of defence against hearing loss under the updated Noise at Work Regulations, which recently expanded to include venues that play music. For many people, earplugs will be the best solution though.
To address this, Howard Leight has designed and launched the Clarity 656, a filtered earplug that is clear in colouring and sound quality. As a result, it will be discreet and give a good sound experience to the wearer.
If directing speakers away from staffed areas or putting up screens is not enough to reduce staff exposure levels below the 85dB upper action level, ear protection is essential; Howard Leight says that the Clarity 656 is the ideal solution.
